NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held regarding:

• Resolution No. 2026-0010, revising County Zoning Regulations for Section 13 of the Planning & Zoning Regulations for Deuel County, Nebraska. Section 13 pertains to small and commercial wind energy conversion systems.
• Resolution No. 2026-11, revising the Building Permit Fee Schedule.
• Resolution No. 2026-20, extending the moratorium for wind, solar and for updating the 2026 Comprehensive Plan.

The public hearing will be held at the Deuel County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, at 8:30 A.M. on October 29, 2026.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed detailed regulations for Section 13 and to present the proposed regulations to the residents of Deuel County. The commissioners will be voting on these items after public comments are received.

A copy of Resolution No. 2026-0010; No. 2026-11; No. 2026-20 and the proposed updated regulations may be obtained on the Deuel County website at https://deuelcountyne.gov or by contacting the Deuel County Clerk’s Office. An agenda for this meeting will be available on the website or by contacting the Deuel County Clerk’s Office.
